The ongoing Africa cup of nations has entered the second face where 16 teams qualified from the group stage will double their efforts.
All coaches who made it to the round of 16 will be bringing their reserved formulas to knock out their opponents to qualify to the next stage.
In all 16 teams paired, just 8 will qualify for the quarter-finals to clash against each other to send home 4 teams.
The semi-finals involve 4 teams and the finals, 2 teams; to see the winner.
This year’s AFCON is remarkable as teams with less participation like Comoros, Gabon, Malawi made it to the round of 16th.
Below is the full timetable for the 2nd phase of the jamboree
Sunday January 23: Burkina Faso will face Gabon at 5:00pm while Nigeria will measure strength with Tunisia at 8:00pm.
On Monday, January
24, Guinieé locks horns with Gambia at 5:00pm while Cameroon plays with Comoros 8:00pm.
On Tuesday, January 25, Nigeria will play with Cape-Verde at 5:00pm while Mali faces Equatorial Guinea 8:00pm.
Ivory Coast plays with Egypt at 5:00pm, while Morocco faces Malawi at 8:00pm.
