Cameroon’s minister of public health, Dr Manaouda Malachie has inaugurated a new ST Scan machine in Bamenda.
The new powerful machine was inaugurated Friday, February 25 at the Bamenda regional hospital in the presence of Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique
During the inauguration ceremony, the equipment which was donated to the hospital by the government earlier this year has already been of help to about 211 persons.
The machine will be of great help to the entire population of the region after the regional hospital went for about two years without the machine.
The director of the health facility, Dr Dennis revealed that since 2020, patients were forced to travel to Bafoussam for scanning because the machine was bad.
Dr Dennis added that the new one is five times better than the old one.
Before leaving Bamenda, Dr Manaouda left a message of peace to the entire people of the region.
