The suspended and now resigned Secretary-General of Cameroon the football Federation, FECAFOOT, Dedier Banlock, has expressed doubts about Samuel Eto’o’s competence at the helm of the country’s football governing body.
Benjamin Didier Banlock was appointed Secretary-General on December 11 after Samuel Etoo ascended the throne as the FECAFOOT president. Two months ago, Banlock was accused of embezzling funds meant for improving football in Cameroon. That eventually led to his suspension until May 18 that he resined from FECAFOOT.
Dedier Banlock breaks the long silence with his resignation letter while unveiling his doubtful thoughts about the current FECAFOOT authorities.
In his letter he said, he believes only great men with great ideas aligning with the greatness of the environment can elevate the progress of football in Cameroon.
He added that he believes in change but the possibility to be achieved in the current FECAFOOT management is doubtful. To support his statement he said, the news and development around the FECAFOOT office make the management skeptical. Dedier Banlock wrote all this before leaving his position as the Secretary-General of FECAFOOT
