The President of the Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT, Samuel Eto’o has established a data platform that will enable professional players in Cameroon’s Club to be paid their salaries.
While assuring them, he equally stated how much the category of league players will be paid.
Now, the lowest wage for an Elite one player is 100,000FCFA and for Elite two 50,000FCFA coupled with an insurance policy covering these players.
This decision became effective in January 2022 before the establishment of the platform which now makes it possible for the players to earn monthly salaries.
In his outing on Wednesday, April 13, the Football star said any home club which does not pay its players will not receive subsidies.

“The salaries of home-based players are already known,” Samuel Eto’o said “Any club president that does not pay players will no longer receive subsidies”
And for any club that will not pay their players, the FECAFOOT Boss gave players the right for players to press charges. If that happens, “FECAFOOT will pay them directly from the subsidies that the clubs in question had to benefit from.”
“I have come to put things in order.” FECAFOOT President said, “I don’t speak; I act.”
He stated that the money he is investing in Cameroon’s football must have a convincing outcome.
