The Presbyterian Church in Cameroon has commissioned into office Rev. Uso Theresia as the pioneer Secretary of the newly created Mezam South Presbytery.
This was during the inauguration and institution of PC Azire as host presbytery of Mezam South recently by th4e Moderator of the PCC, Rt Rev. Fonki Samuel Forba.
Aside from being the secretary, Rev. Uso was also inducted as Parish Pastor of PCC Azire.
The newly created Mezam Presbytery was founded in November 2021 from the Mezam North presbytery. It has 23 congregations, and 28 pastors with a population of about 8, 000 Christians.
Speaking during the induction ceremony, the Moderator told the new leader of God’s gospel, Rev Uso Theresia to use only the words of God to strengthen the community in a Christian way.
“But God chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the week things to shame the strong…so that no one may boast before Him,” Rev Fonki read from 1 Cor1:27-28
According to Rev Uso Theresia Berndzeh, she is just one amongst the “foolish things of the world that God chose to shame the wise and the strong”
“My humble work with God has made me see that many people have diverted from the course. I feel that the impact of the Church is not found in the community,” Rev. Uso Theresia said
Rev Uso Theresia graduated from the Theological seminary in 2011. She has served as secretary, assistant Pastor and Pastor in many churches in Cameroon before she was appointed Presbyterial Secretary for Mezam South and Parish Pastor of PCC Azire in Bamenda.
