The 32 teams to compete in the 2022 Qatar world cup now know the different financial packages which await them as the embark on the mission.
On Friday April 1, the International Football Association (FIFA) revealed the value of the financial prizes that the participating teams in the Qatar 2022 World Cup will receive.
According to the FIFA announcement, all the teams which have qualified for the World Cup will each receive a sum of 1.5 million dollars to enable them prepare for the November 2022 global event.
TWIF NEWS gathered that, the winner of the tournament will back home 42 million dollars, while the runner-up will be awarded 30 million dollars, and 27 million dollars to the third ranked team.
The fourth position holder will receive $25 million, while the teams occupying the fifth to sixteenth position will each receive $17 million.
Meantime, FIFA will award the holders of the seventeenth to thirty-second ranked teams in the football show piece the sum of $9 million.
