The confederation of African football has slammed Egyptian Football Association EFA the whooping sum of 100,000USD for boycotting the pre-match conference.
The Egyptians failed to attend the pre-match round table conference on January 29 before their encounter with Morocco which saw them proceed to the semi-finals.

Barely 24 hours to the duel encounter with Cameroon, Egypt and CAF have been exchanging unfavourable discomforts. Yesterday the pharaohs compliant about the Gambian referee appointed to officiate the semi-finals, today CAF is fining Egypt. We hope both parties settle the dust rooming before the game with Cameroon.
Egypt can avoid this fine only if she proved not guilty of breaching the African Nations Cup rules, which include two teams having an encounter must have a pre-match conference. This wasn’t respected by EFA before the clash with Morocco.
