A Roman Catholic Priest in Yaounde has made away with church funds worth at least FCFA 3 Million.
The priest of Zalom Nyong-et-Mfoumou parish, Centre Region of Cameroon has gone missing after he committed the incident recently.
The act carried out by the man whose name TWIF NEWS got as Bikanda Otanga has put Christians of Zalom Catholic Church in confusion after swindling the millions.
Sources revealed that Bikanda arrived in Zalom as a teacher in one of the colleges in the locality where he would later get into the priesthood.
So many people have questioned the integrity of Catholic Priests as some are breaking the norms of the doctrine.
Many are now leaving their posts of responsibility and others stealing in church.
Earlier this week, a renowned former priest of one of the Diocese of Buea proposed to his long-time fiancé in Maryland on her birthday with a well-organised party.
The priest is accused of having stolen funds from his Buea parish before fleeing to the US where he is now ready to start a family.
