The Hope Social Union for the Visually Impaired (HSUVI), says it will continue in its mission to advocate for the well-being of persons living with disabilities next year. This was made known during the association’s end-of-year meeting, held recently in Bamenda. During the meeting, HSUVI’s President, Ngong Peter Tonain saluted the efforts of everyone who in 2020, supported the Bamenda-based association in one way or the other. He equally implored God to abundantly reward anyone who has stood by persons with disabilities during 2020’s trying moments. Meanwhile, the association thanked all their benefactors for their help in 2020, marked by the Anglophone armed conflict and the COVID-19 pandemic. Mr. Tonain equally urged members of the association to take good care of their families and themselves, as they celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ and the new year 2021. As a family, HSUVI used their last meeting of the year to extend Christmas and New Year wishes to their benefactors and partners. They equally took the commitment to work harder in 2021 in order to ameliorate the living conditions of their peers with visual impairment in Bamenda and beyond.
