Governor Adolphe Lele Lafrique has called on Cameroonians living in the diaspora to cease causing conflict in the country.
The North West Governor was speaking Tuesday afternoon during the 37th edition of International Women’s Day at the Bamenda Commercial avenue grandstand.
“I am appealing to those in the Diaspora to stop intoxicating the masses and be agents of peace where ever they are in order to give peace a chance,” Adolphe Lele said
The administrative officer added that the Head of State, Paul Biya is behind all the women as they continue the cry for peace in the restive regions.
The Governor also called on those still holding guns in the bushes to drop them and come out for the proper development of the country.
The 2022 International Women’s Day was celebrated under the theme “Equality Between Women and Men Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow”
