The younger brother of the President of the United States, Robert Trump, has died at the age of 71.
The American business tycoon known for profoundness in real estate development died on Saturday after being hospitalized at a hospital in New York City.
On Friday, he was visited at the hospital by his brother Donald Trump, after White House officials revealed he was severely ill. The cause of the death still remains undetermined.
“It is with heavy heart I share that my wonderful brother, Robert, peacefully passed away tonight,” President Donald Trump said in a statement.
“He was not just my brother, he was my best friend. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again. His memory will live on in my heart forever. Robert, I love you. Rest in peace.”
