One of the social media giants, TikTok has entered a partnership with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) that will allow the platform to be airing content about the ATotalEnergiesAFCON
This partnership has come barely hours to the kickoff of the 33rd edition of the AFCON jamboree.
This partnership was officially announced by the Confederation of African Football (CAF) online on Thursday, January 06 will see TikTok engage lovers of African football across the globe by sharing pre and postmatch content
TikTok through this year-long sponsorship will become a home for the spirit and passion of the Continents biggest football celebration.
TikTok which has been the perfect platform for both men and women’s games with over 273 billion hashtags and over 108 million viewers will stand the greatest chance to improve CAF using its platform
“CAF is truly delighted to have TikTok come on board as an official partner,” CAF Secretary General Verone Mosengo Omba said “Football content which is highly demanded in Africa believes together with TikTok they will be able to create and encourage the online community to engage in and create the type of content that will take both brands to a new market”
“The partnership recognizes CAF not just as a football body but our position as biggest football entertainment producers in Africa, giving fans everywhere world-class football experiences through years” he added.
Since the spread of the Covid-19 pandemic which has turned to prevent fans across the Continents from commune together, this partnership between TikTok and CAF will be another opportunity to unite African Football fans together online
