The Ministry of Secondary Education and Cameroon Football Federation, FECAFOOT have engaged to promote football among youth in the country.
This was the outcome of a one-day meeting between the President of FECAFOOT, Samuel Eto’o and Secondary Education Minister, Professor Nalova Lyonga on April 12, 2022.
The two personalities promised to step up collaboration between their institutions in the days ahead, with a memorandum of understanding to follow soon.
Speaking during the meeting was Professsor Nalova Lyonga who expressed her profound gratitude to Samuel Eto’o for all the wonderful job he has been doing.
“We are so happy that we have
somebody like you heading
FECAFOOT because when we talk
football, we talk the youth. We are
producing the youth, you are producing the results,” Nalova Lyonga said.
While pledging her will to have fruitful relationships with FECAFOOT, Professsor Nalova Lyonga added that Cameroonian youths are full with enthusiastic energy.
“We are ready to work with you,
we are ready to have a
Memorandum of Understanding, MoU with you which will have the
name of Eto’o Fils on it even
though we will not be changing the
context so much,” the Minister added
On the side of Eto’o, he applauded the minister for accepting him, as both ended on a good footing to meet in the days ahead to revised the memorandum of understanding.
